Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return unless otherwise arranged with us here at Drop Bear Storage. 

After 14 days a restocking fee of 20% will be deducted from the original order total product value, not including freight cost. This is only valid up to 30 days after receiving your items.

WE WILL NOT COVER ACCIDENTAL CUTTING OF ANY ITEMS WHEN OPENING UP THE PACKAGING WITH SHARP IMPLIMENTS...

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@dropbearstorage.com.au . If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We have the right to repair any issues with the pockets and return the original repaired item back to you.

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the packaging is damaged before opening or the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We do not except responsibility or liability if you have placed your item in the wrong location and try to remove the sticky velcro from that surface or if you have a change of mind in the future. Recheck location of pockets before sticking on to surface permanently.

If your parcel is damaged in transit, then your will be required to contact Australia Post website to lodge a compensation of damaged in transit items claim. This is to be done with in 3 business days or receiving your items. Keep all packaging and take photos as soon as possible. https://auspost.com.au/receiving/delayed-lost-or-damaged-items/compensation

If this is not complete in the 3 business days, then Drop Bear Storage will not be responsible for any compensation or reimbursement for damaged in transit products.

Additional insurance (transit cover) can be taken out by the buyer if required.

If you want us to check this then you will be required to ship the items back at your cost and once inspected, if we deem that the product was damaged while the package was being opened, CUT, we will not replace the item under warranty or refund any amount of the goods. If you want the items back, you will be required to pay for return post. If it is due to manufacturing, then we will incur the cost of postages and replacement of your items.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

There may, at our discretion, be a 10% to 20% remake or restocking fee on items that are returned to us that we have made up specifically for your order.

Please be aware that due to limitations in our ecommerce system, we are unable to exchange items on the original invoice. The cost will be given as an instore credit issued via a gift voucher.

Store credit only for change of mind items.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the store credit was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to a store credit via gift card to the value of the original item price only, excluding any postage you have paid to return items, the original postage cost or any additional fees we have incurred against the original order or against any refund fees. 

If you choose to have a refund, there will be a 20% which covers the checking, restocking, admin and return package disposal fee. This will be charged and taken from the original invoice product amount.

Change of mind - Consumer Affairs Victoria

Please note that you, the customer, is only entitled to a refund or replacement for a major problem with a product covered by consumer guarantees.

Postage is not refunded when sent back to us for change of mind due to colour, size or any other non-warranty issue. This is paid by the customer.

NOTE: Any refunds given on invoices paid through PayPal after 180 days of original payment will incur fees as we don't get the original fees back from PayPal.
